Winner of Curtin Growth Ignition scholarship announced
The team behind Cultured, one of Perth’s newest services aimed at young travellers, is looking to take the business to the next level after winning SPUR’s Curtin Growth Ignition scholarship.
Curtin Growth Ignition is a five-and-a-half day program which teaches innovators how to trial and prepare business ideas for the commercial environment.
Cultured co-creator Jacinta Houzer said her business aims to make it easier and more efficient for young people to access good quality information when planning or exploring a city.
“Cultured maps are already available at hostels and universities in Perth and a website is due to be launched soon,” Ms Houzer said.
“I’m very excited to have won the Landgate scholarship. SPUR, powered by Landgate, has given me the opportunity to learn valuable insights into business development that will help kick-start the next stage of Cultured.”
