Round 1 selection process

Evaluation of the applications will commence Monday 14 November in two phases.

Phase 1: initial assessment to determine if the application form and budget is complete, if the application has been received on time and the eligibility criteria has been met:

  • based in WA
  • strong location information component based.

Phase 2: assessment of the project proposal and how it meets SPUR objectives:

  • reduce operating costs of government and industry
  • improve government service delivery to benefit the community,
  • create and grow successful local business enterprise to develop a stronger WA economy.

Other considerations also include:

  • value for money
  • investment commitment,
  • future sustainability.

The selection panel may also seek further clarification from applicants on aspects of their submission if required. This is to ensure any confusion can be resolved quickly.

Applicants will be notified if their application has been successful by 15 December 2016.

It is expected that once agreements have been finalised with successful applicants, funds should be released by the end of January 2017.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss the status of your proposal or make enquiries for potential future programs, contact the grants coordinator at SPUR on 9273 7525 or spuronwagrant@landgate.wa.gov.au.
